It is truly what was promised and what the government has collected money and promised to do. Our federal government is here to serve the PEOPLE of the United States - not JUST the profit margin of the wireless industry. HORRIFIC CONSEQUENCES - because our FCC, FDA, and Congress have shamelessly avoided their fiduciary responsibilities to the safety of our communications deployment, there is virtually NO public knowledge of how to reduce exposures, how to take proper precautions. REAL RESULTS? Discrimination against elderly, against children in schools, against the general public who remain uninformed about simple precautionary measures that would be OBVIOUS if the public understood the extreme benefits of using wired equipment and fiber optics. I HAVE MANY EXAMPLES - I WILL RELAY JUST ONE TREMENDOUS LIFE TRAGEDY because of our lack of protections for ALL consumers and citizens. A dear neighbor, (his name), lies in a rehab bed with a default mode diagnosis of "two months at most to live" at this point. A death sentence from a GBM - aggressive glioblastoma brain tumor that has taken over his brain. (His wife) could be a widow by fall...because of the LACK OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. In his mid-70s, (his name) never retired. He had a single person law practice and had moved his office home to save money to keep paying back the medical bills that his daughter incurred for her care and ultimate death after a bad car accident. He and his wife KNEW about the 24/7 EMF exposures from Smart Meters. We had arranged for an opt -out meter because she is physically affected by high EMF exposures. BUT he always thought that office equipment was "safe" -- after all Comcast was recommending the two systems ... they couldn't be unsafe! HIS home office was many walls and the greatest distance possible away from their main master and living area. When I walked into his isolated office/far from the rest of the house, to help (his wife) fax something for his care, I was immediately devastated and horrified at the tragedy. Because I am electrosensitive, (I immediately felt the disruptive inflammatory response caused by EMFs). I have gotten Building Biology Institute training in how to use professional meters, so I got my meters and measured while sitting at his desk: typical range of 31,300 - 51,000 microWatts per meter squared. Within a couple of minutes and closer to the fax machine, the spikes had gone REPEATEDLY up to 385,000 to 845,000 microWatts per meter squared. (These levels are like a tumor incubator waiting for a victim.) As I leaned toward the front of his desk, where there were 7 pieces of equipment plugged in, the MAX peak went to 3,185,000 microWatts/meter-squared. (Yes, THREE MILLION units). If he had understood how to compare, e.g., fiber optics (or other safe connections) versus wifi type situations, he may have realized what he was exposing himself to. WE have no Right to Know laws ... so What Are We Going to Do to Keep Safe? (HE) SAT THERE - CLUELESS - for eight hours a day, most often taking his lunch at his desk, for years... I know at least five, maybe more. We are developing a timeline now. The FCC has already received submissions and studies and reports of the extreme evidence that glioblastoma's ARE a direct result of EMF exposures. DO NOT ALLOW "THE MUTE BUTTON" TO STAY ON THIS DESPICABLE AND SHAMEFUL SITUATION. We are a technically advanced nation. We can handle knowing what "proper precautions" SHOULD be used with technical equipment. WE DESERVE TO HAVE OUR elders & children & those like me protected — I had to give up my career and lose retirement benefits BECAUSE my school system had never heard of a need to accommodate for electromagnetic sensitivity. The people of this nation deserve to be both protected not only from the discrimination created by a preventable functional disability but a also a preventable Death Sentence for others. We need to pray and then ACT for those children who sit under the industrial strength routers at school. Will they follow (his name) in another five years? We can stop this insanity immediately.
