RESOLUTION NO. 26-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND DIRECTING
THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
VILLAGE'S ADOPTED PROCEDURES.

As per Village capital assets inventory, attached is the resolution to request Village's assets (three
police vehicles) to be surplus and directs the Village Manager to dispose of it in accordance with the
established procedure.
The assets listed on Exhibits "A" and "B" have over -extended their useful lives, are outdated, and no
longer in service.

The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, hereby declares property as described in Exhibits "A"
and "B" to be surplus and directs the Village Manager to dispose of the surplus property in a manner consistent
with the Village's adopted procedures.

A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE
SURPLUS AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF
SURPLUS PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S
ADOPTED PROCEDURES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, established
procedures for disposing of surplus Village property; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta owns property as described in Exhibits "A" and
"B" attached hereto; and the property is outdated, damaged and/or no longer in service, or
being replaced;
WHEREAS, the Village Council declares the property to be surplus and directs the
Village Manager to dispose of the surplus property in accordance with the Village's adopted
procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Village finds that this Resolution will promote the health, safety and
welfare of the Village
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, hereby declares
property as described in Exhibits "A" and "B" to be surplus and directs the Village Manager
to dispose of the surplus property in a manner consistent with the Village's adopted
procedures.
Section 2: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith shall be and
hereby are repealed.
Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.

As per Village capital assets inventory, attached is the resolution to request Village's
assets (three police vehicles) to be surplus and directs the Village Manager to dispose
of it in accordance with the established procedure.

Any funds received because of disposition will be deposited into the Village's revenue
account - Disposition/Sale of Assets.
