RE: Conceptual Presentation for Starbucks at Tequesta — US-1 & Village Blvd.
Dear Nilsa,
On behalf of the Applicant, please accept this letter as our formal request to make exterior
architectural modifications to the property located at 710 N. US Highway, in the Village
of Tequesta Drive. The site has a land use designation of Commercial and a zoning
designation of C2; Community Commercial.
The Applicant received site plan approval from the Village Council on June 9, 2022.
Following that approval, the Applicant has decided to propose utilizing alternative colors
for the recently approved building elevations in an effort to consider comments made at
the 6-9-2022 Meeting.
The Applicant is pleased to provide the Council with the attached. They have taken
care to add architectural treatments to the building in the form of shutters, and have
softened the color to be more consistent with the surrounding buildings.
This improvement will cause no adverse impact to the surrounding area. To the
contrary, it will allow a property to revamp its exterior to provide for a more visually
appealing aesthetic. On behalf of the Applicant, 2GHO, Inc. looks forward to
discussing these changes in more detail at the next Village Council Meeting.
