Throughout the process, there were various kiosks at Village operated events, presentations to Village Boards/Committees, various workshops, and design open houses. Through all the various public involvement, the design elements were conceived and preliminary sketches were drafted. Mr. Lilly explained to the Board that during the process, physical and online surveys were provided to the community to obtain their feedback. Afterward, he provided the Board with the results and findings from the Parks Master Plan survey such as the amenities most favored and the parks/open spaces the community liked the most. After receiving the feedback from the surveys, three conceptual plans were drafted for both Tequesta Park and Remembrance Park. The conceptual plans were printed and placed on boards, which were placed in the Village Hall lobby for residents to provide their opinions. The boards and a survey box were left in the lobby for two weeks to receive as much feedback as possible. In addition, a separate open house was held for residents adjacent to the proposed Remembrance Park to receive their input. Mr. Lilly provided the Board with the conceptual plans for Tequesta Park and the findings received from the surveys.
