Home My WebLink AboutMinutes_Selection Review_8/22/202281 MINUTES SELECTION COMMITTEE MEETING JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR RECREATION CENTER VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FL AUGUST 22, 2022 10:00 AM VILLAGE HALL CONFERENCE ROOM CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order at 10.00 AM by Village Clerk McWilliams and roll call was taken. Present were: Selection Committee Members Doug Chambers, Director of Public Works; Jeff Snyder, Finance Director; and Greg Corbitt, Director of Parks and Recreation AGENDA ITEMS 1. Janitorial Services for Recreation Center Evaluation and Ranking Clerk McWilliams noted there were three proposals submitted for the RFP: Ceiling to Floor Cleaning, Inc.; Clean Space, Inc.; and 24 Hours, Inc. Mr. Snyder reviewed the evaluation forms and noted he calculated the percentage cost proposals based on the bids received. The scores for cost proposals were as follows: • 24 Hours, Inc. - 9 points (out of 30) • Ceiling to Floor, Inc. - 11 points (out of 30) • Clean Space, Inc. - 30 points (out of 30) Mr. Chambers explained the bid tabs were completed for each bid and all requirements were met by all three proposals. He provided a brief summary of all three bids. He noted that due to the low cost point submitted by Clean Space, he contacted their references with the City of Boynton Beach, Martin County Parks and Recreation and City of Sebastian; all of whom were pleased with their work product, service and responsiveness. Mr. Corbitt and Mr. Snyder had nothing to add and the Committee Members filled out their evaluation forms with the total score as follows (see imaged backup for individual scoring forms): Chambers Corbitt Snyder 24 Hours, Inc. 70 71 79 Ceiling to Floor, 69 68 Inc. 71 Clean Space, Inc. 96 90 100 Totals for each proposal were as follows: • 24 Hours, Inc. = 73.33% • Ceiling to Floor, Inc. = 72.66% • Clean Space, Inc. = 95.33% The committee agreed to submit Clean Space, Inc. to Council for approval.
