Please be mindful of its content** Lori....l can not attend this evening's Council meeting due to experiencing vertigo. Everything is spinning! Please read at citizen comment the following with respect to Agenda Item 17, Conceptual Presentation. I have one other request of the Mayor and Council in that I was hoping to have this read into the record before Council discussion. "Years ago,Village Council introduced the ability for an applicant interested in developing, modifying or rebuilding a project in the Village to bring it to Council as a conceptual presentation. Council would then have the opportunity to listen and to see a basic overview of what the applicant would like to move forward with. We did this to save an applicant costly fees before knowing if Council would be in favor of the project. Although the applicant will make a presentation with preliminary renderings of what the project could look like, it is not the time to get into great detail. It's a time to consider the overall merits of the project and express your thoughts about the applicant moving, or not moving, forward." "That said, it is fair to voice your opinions and stipulate certain conditions that you would want, such as an aversion to significant variances or conditions that are are not approved in the Code of Ordinances. Suggestions for a modification to the size, positioning and appearance in the rendering has helped applicants to react and make some adjustments, which benefits both the applicant and the Council. It's a win-win for all parties." Abby Brennan (561) 339-0740 Abby@abbybrennan.net lv -13 -22 ►1 i commeas No Text
