Craig, PE, Director, Utilities Department Date: October 3, 2022 Re: Utilities Department Monthly Report 561-768-0700 www.tequesta.org Please find the monthly utilities dashboard for August attached and the August monthly report for the Utilities Department below: • Stormwater & Water Distribution o NPDES reporting— all required inspections were completed in September o Inventory completed for water distribution and stormwater; auditor coming to verify inventory based on inventory cost threshold • Water o FDEP State Revolving Loan (SRF) Fund loan —received agreement for signature ■ Agreement has 1.19%interest rate ■ First tranche projects: Water Main (WM) Project 1- Tequesta Drive and WM Project 4 —Country Club Dr. (South) —estimated cost $2.63M o Jupiter Island interconnect still open — continuing to provide about 200,000 gallons of Tequesta water per day —first bill for month of August/ September was about $21,000 —still resolving problems with their finished water pumps o County Line Road Bridge Replacement project —working with Martin County to collaborate on their project since they will allow pipes back on the bridge after construction o Evaluating AC pipe replacement program due to increases in materials/ constructions -phasing and financial sustainability • Other o FIaWARN mutual aid agreement —evaluating resources deployment to the west coast of Florida after Hurricane Ian —multiple utilities are deploying staff and equipment, starting with Town of Jupiter (7) and West Palm Beach (8) over the weekend Vice -Mayor Kyle Stone Mayor Molly Young Council Member Frank D'Ambra III Council Member Laurie Brandon Council Member Aaron Johnson Village Manager Jeremy Allen Page 165 of 478 Page is too large to OCR.
