The Utilities Department monthly report for December is found below:
Stormwater

• El Portal Stormwater & Sidewalk Improvements —100% plans have been received and
comments provided to consultant; will contract with Wynne using a piggyback on
agreement with PBC pending approval by their Commission
Water
• FDEP State Revolving Loan (SRF) Fund loan —
o Bid opening held December 15tn
o Bids reviewed by engineer with lowest responsible bidder recommendation of B&B
Construction for $3,560,490.00, which is 60% higher than the engineer's opinion of
probable cost of $2,232,230
o Working with FDEP on their approval of the bid, increasing the loan amount, and an
agreement with contractor
Grants
• Gulfstream Dr. & Riverside Dr. Bioswale 319 Grant — draft of final report provided to FDEP;
minimal comments received and final report to be submitted by January 15t"; after
approval, will submit for grant reimbursement of $30,000
• FDEP Vulnerability Assessment Grant/Project
o Staff reviewing draft web -based GIS map Jones Edmunds created of existing geo-
coded Village related assets and data gathered from the Village, County, and other
available resources and reviewing data gaps
