SUBJECT: Finance/Administration Committee Recommendations
of June 21, 1990
This is to report to you on the recommendations of the
Finance and Administration Committee which met on June 21, 1990 at
4:30 P.M. in Village Hall. The recommendations of the Committee
regarding the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act Procedures
to be followed in acquiring engineering services for water
projects are as follows:
1. Three (3) projects to be solicited are one 3 million
gallon storage tank; eastern peninsula surficial test
and production well with related hydrogeologic work;
and western peninsula surficial test wells (3) with
related hydrogeologic work. The notices to engineers
will be published in the Palm Beach Post and Courier -
Journal on July 1, 1990 and July 8, 1990. Please find
attached the Notice to Engineers which is being
provided to you pursuant to the Village's CCNA
procedures.
2. The Committee authorized the formation of CCNA team as
follows: Membership is Councilmember Collings, Mayor
Capretta, Water System Manager, Thomas C. Hall and
Village Manager, Thomas G. Bradford and/or myself.

Pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055 generally known as the
"Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act," this shall serve as
public announcement that the Village of Tequesta desires to
acquire the services of an engineering consultant to prepare plans
and specifications to expand Water System Capacity for the
following projects:
1) One (1) 3.0 M.G. Water Storage Tank with Related Pumps
and Piping.
2) Eastern Peninsula Surficial Test/Production Well with
Related Hydrogeologic Work and Related Raw Water
Transmission Main.
3) Three (3) Western Peninsula Surficial Test/Production
Wells with Related Hydrogeologic Work and Raw Water
Transmission Mains with One (1) Subaqueous Crossing
Firms who desire to provide services to the Village must
submit a letter of interest accompanied by a statement of
qualifications and performance data at the Administrative Office,
357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, ATTN: Thomas C. Hall,
Water System Manager. Deadline for submittals is 2:00 P.M., July
16, 1990.
