It is approximately 7.14 acres and contains a walking trail and a gazebo. The below graphic indicates the location of the Linear Park. r- NiMirl, Linear Park means "an urban park that is considerably longer than it is wide," and they are often strips of public land that run adjacent to waterways such as canals, streams, and rivers as well as highways, railways, and other related infrastructure. These parks are often ideal for activities such as walking, jogging, biking, and exercise. Many communities in South Florida such as Palm Beach Gardens (Thompson River Linear Park), Royal Palm Beach (Grandview Linear Park),. and Pinecrest (Red Road Linear Park), have a linear park within their jurisdiction. Staff Analysis The Village is considering renaming the Linear Park to Linear Trail; in this case, the Linear Trail would still be classified as a Neighborhood Park under the Comprehensive Plan.
