Ladd, Building Official � DATE: November 20, 1989 SUBJECT: Community Appearance Board Project Review PROJECT: Bank Atlantic 710. U. S. Hwy. One North, County Line Plaza Erection of a free—standing sign, 40 square feet in area, double faced, internally illuminated, and eight feet ( 8' ) in height. Tom, the Community Appearance Board reviewed the above referenced project on October 25, 1989. The following concerns were expressed by the Board regarding this proposed project: 1. There was Board concern with regard to the new location of the free—standing sign and the landscaping of the proposed signs base area. 2. There was also Board concern over the lack of suitable landscaping at the old sign location area. Motion to approve the proposed project subject to the following conditions: 1. Landscaping to be used around the free—standing sign shall be two feet in height at planting and shall be from the plant list suthnitted in the original landscape plan for Bank Atlantic, except that the varieties of Liriope and Day Lily will not be used. All other plants in the list are acceptable. The entire island will be planted, not grassed. The planted area will be enclosed with curbing. 2. Also to be provided is a modification to the original landscape plan to incorporate plants intended for the area just west of the original sign location. (2) Page 2 11-20 -89 3. A specific revised landscape plan of the area adjacent to the original sign location shall be submitted with the Site Plan Review packet. Vote on the motion: 5 - 0 to approve. Additional Board comments: None Building Official comments: This proposed project meets the technical requirements of the Village codes and has met the concerns of the Community Appearance Board, therefore, recommend approval of this proposed project. This letter is to confirm the action of the Village of Tequesta Community Appearance Board at the October 25, 1989 meeting approving your application for signs for Bank Atlantic, 710 U. S. Hwy. One North subject to the following: 1. Three wall signs approved as submitted; reverse backlit channel letters, Bank Atlantic Blue, as follows: A. 13" logo and channel letters on S. F. elevation at drive-t hru. B. 24" logo and 20" channel letters on east elevation. C. 21" logo and 18" channel letters on north elevation. 2. Free-standing monument sign 5' E 8' , internally illuminated, Bank Atlantic Blue background with white plex copy was approved as submitted, except for the landscaping which shall be as follows: A.
