MEMORANDUM:
TO: Village Council
FROM: Thomas G. Bradford, Village Manager
DATE: October 19, 1989
SUBJECT: Application for Local Government Land Development
Regulation Assistance Funds
The State of Florida Department of Community Affairs Bureau
of Local Planning has allocated $12,307 to the Village of
Tequesta to develop the necessary Land Development Regulations
necessitated by completion of the Comprehensive Development
Plan. The Land Development Regulations must be implemented and
the Village is desirous of receiving the said funds. The reason
that this has been scheduled for your consideration at the
Village Council Meeting on October 26, is due to the fact that
Section II of the application entitled "Certification, " states
that, in pertinent part, "the filing of the application has been
requested by the governing body of the applicant. " Therefore,
your approval of this application is requested so that a proper
application may be executed by Mayor Capretta and, thereafter,
submitted to the Bureau of Local Planning.
