Subject: Request for extension, Church of the Good Shepherd
Special exception and site plan approval
Dear Mr. Ladd:
This letter will confirm our recent telephone conversations.
The Church of the Good Shepherd requests that the Village
Council grant an extension to the approvals obtained on September 15,
1988 for the Special Exception under Section X (J) of the Tequesta zoning
ordinance, and the Site Plan under Ordinance 355.
The reason for the request is that budgetary constraints have
made it imprudent to award contracts at this time. The proposals received
exceed the church's financial limitations; consequently, the Vestry has
now elected to accept new proposals for the work on a phased basis (i.e.
Building A first, and then Building B). Due to these actions, it will
not be possible to obtain a building permit within the time allowances
set forth in the Council's approval.
Please forward this request to the Village Council on behalf
of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and accept our expression of appreciation
for your assistance and the Council's consideration.
Very truly yours,
/1(,/
