BOX 5898 6 LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA 3<jr '4 o (305) 439-1 1 12 33466 June 23, 1983 Mr. Bob Harp, Village Manager Village of Tequesta P.O. Box 3273 Tequesta, Florida 33458 Dear Bob : This letter confirms previous discussions with the Village regarding the proposed work program necessary to complete the Tequesta Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Review,.,-(EARY Report as required by the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act and any other necessary revisions to the Tequesta Comprehensive Development Plan. It is suggested that the Plan be updated as well , to incorporate any changes or to reflect recommenda- tions made as a result of the EAR. Both the EAR and Plan Update, upon their completion could be brought through the amendment/adoption process required by the LGCPA at the same time to expedite enventual completion of the work program. As per your request for an approximate budget figure, it is recommended that the Village budget $10,000 to. $15,000 in the 1984 fiscal year to accommodate the EAR and Plan Update. This figure is suggested for budgeting purposes only, and not to necessarily reflect actual cost of the work program. Because of the state public participation requirements, it is difficult to predict how many workshops/meetings with the Local Planning Agency will be necessary to satisfactorily carry out its responsibility of review and completion of these work products , therefore, it is recommended that a work program and time sched- ule be prepared initially and accepted by the LPA as a guide to move us expeditiously through this effort. The expenditure of time and funds should be closely monitored as our consultant fee is based on a time and materials basis . We look forward to a continued work effort with the Village. Very truly yours; 4 Eugene A. Caputo, President Z wth "/e 1
