BACKGROUND The Lighthouse ArtCenter has two locations within the Village of Tequesta. One building is in the Gallery Square North Plaza, and the other is at 395 Seabrook Road. The subject application is in regard to the Lighthouse ArtCenter facility located at 395 Seabrook Road, in the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District. After its construction in 1973, the 4,341-square-foot building was owned by Jupiter Medical Center prior to being acquired by the Lighthouse ArtCenter. II. STAFF ANALYSIS In June 2023, the Applicant submitted a request for a site plan modification to renovate their garage at the existing art facility by: • updating two (2) garage doors into new glass garage doors, • converting one (1) garage door into a front -swing door, • modifying one (1) garage door into automatic sliding doors, and • enclosing two (2) doors. There will be no changes to the footprint or height of the building. The Applicant has provided floor plans, elevations, material specifications, and other associated drawings, to highlight the proposed modification.
