Please find enclosed the two cost estimates revised to reflect your latest requested
selection of proposed improvements to Country Club Drive within the Village of
Tequesta. Estimate 1 reflects two new 5 foot concrete sidewalks, while Estimate
No. 2 reflects only an overlay (1 ") of the existing asphalt pathway. Both estimates
are for 2% overlays of Country Club Drive in lieu of rebuilding the road base and
subgrade.
Please call if you have any questions requiring additional data. The contingency
has been lowered from 10% to 5% per your request.

Resolutions made by the
Committee of Country Club Drive Residents
at the meeting held April 12, 1994
1) All through trucks must be banned from Country Club Drive.
2) Signs must be posted on Old Dixie Highway designating it a Truck Route.
Signs reading "No Through Trucks Allowed on Country Club Drive" should
be posted east of the bridge on Tequesta Drive, on Country Club Drive at
the Martin County Line, and on old Dixie Highway.
3) The 25 mile per hour speed limit on'Country Club Drive must be strictly enforced.
4) Signs reading "No Through Trucks Allowed" must be placed at all Tequesta
Village roads leading from County Line Road south. These Village of Tequesta
roads should also have 25 mile per hour speed limits that are strictly enforced.
5) Change the flashing yellow light on Country Club Drive at the Tequesta
Country Club to a flashing red light.
6) Country Club Drive at the Martin County Line should be divided and
landscaped in a manner consistent with the Village entrance at Tequesta
Drive and US 1.
7) The roadbed on Country Club Drive at the Martin County Line must be laid
with rippled brick and a guard house installed.
8) Appropriate landscaping including Oak trees should be implemented to further slow
traffic and enhance the residential aspects of Country Club Drive.
9) No curbs or gutters are needed on Country Club Drive. The road should be
resurfaced and a pathway for pedestrians built.
10)If traffic on Country Club Drive reverts back to the levels of intolerable
congestion and noise prior to the temporary closure of Country Club Drive
we request that the Tequesta Village Council implement the Safe Neighborhood
Act to close and gate Country Club Drive at the Martin County Line.
We will not tolerate previous traffic conditions on our residential road.
