Bradford Village Manager Village of Tequesta 357 Tequesta Drive Tequesta, Florida 33469 Dear Tom: As you know, the Town of Jupiter has been concerned for some time over the difference in ad valorem taxes paid to the County Fire-Rescue as opposed to the dollar value for services received. There has been a general agreement that the numbers are different by more than $1 million and perhaps closer to $2 million. Although we have been in discussions with the County for some time, the discussions have generally been unproductive. At this point, I would like you to consider meeting with me and presenting a plan for how your community would service the Town of Jupiter with fire and ambulance protection. Please let me know when you are ready to make that presentation and with best wishes, I remain, Sincerely, Lee R. Evett Town Manager LRE:mp cc: The Honorable Mayor and Members of the Town Council
