Bradford, Village Manager FROM: Gary Preston, Director of Public Works 74 . � DATE: January 12, 1994 SUBJECT: Tequesta Drive Streetscape Plan On March 24, 1993, the Community Appearance Board, sating as the Tree Board, recommended a Phase 1 Streetscape along Tequesta Drive between Willow Road/Fiesta Avenue and Seabrook Road. The Streetscape Plan was prepared by Steve Parker, local Landscape Architect and Alternate Tree Board Member, and presented to the Tree Board for review at their May 12, 1993 meeting. The proposed Phase 1 plan consisted of: o A new irrigation system o Relocation of five (5 ) Royal Palms o Planting of Queen Palms, Live Oaks, Sabal Palms and Pigeon Plums After reviewing the proposed plan, the Tree Board voted to approve Phase 1 as presented and request Fiscal Year 1994 funding in the amount of $12, 500 for project completion. This amount was later allocated by the Village Council . With this Memorandum, I have attached copies of the Tequesta Drive Phase 1 Streetscape providing Councilmembers Schauer and Collings an opportunity to review the plan before the January 17, 1994 Public Works Committee Meeting. Tree Board Members will also be in attendance at this meeting as they requested a joint meeting with the Public Works Committee when the plans were presented. Steve Parker and I will be at the Public Works Committee Meeting to present the plan and answer questions pertaining to this proposed project. GP/mk Attachments Recucled Parer
