I, Bill C. Kascavelis, Village Clerk, Village of Tequesta,
Florida, hereby certify that the result of the Special Election held
on January 15, 1991, in accordance with the Provisions of Resolution
No. 5-90/91, dated December 13, 1990, and Resolution No. 4-90/91,
dated November 8, 1990, providing for a "Straw Ballot Question "
relating to whether the manner of providing for public safety in
the Village, by and through the Village Police Department and
through contracted services with Palm Beach County for fire/rescue,
be changed so as to phase in the establishment of a Public Safety
Department within the Village to provide for and manage the combined
services of police and fire/rescue was:

STRAW BALLOT QUESTION-PUBLIC SAFETY

NO 857
therefore the Straw Ballot Question-Public Safety was defeated.
