This request will be submitted as a sole source vendor. Radiotronics currently has maintenance agreements for both police and fire radio systems. The dispatch console in use at this time was built by Radiotronics. Please include approval of this service on the March 8, 2001 Council agenda. RESOLUTION NO. 29-00/01 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM RADIOTRONICS, INC. , OF JUPITER, FLORIDA, FOR MOVING FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENT RADIOS AND ANTENNAS TO OCEAN TOWERS SOUTH CONDOMINIUM, IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,750. 00, AND A PROPOSAL FROM WILLIAM H. MURPHY GENERAL CONTRACTOR, INC. , OF HOBE SOUND, FLORIDA, FOR SITE WORK REQUIRED FOR COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MOVE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,522 .00, WITH FUNDS BEING APPROPRIATED FROM ' THE GENERAL FUND, GENERAL GOVERNMENT TEMPORARY FACILITIES ACCOUNT, HAVING A FY 2000/2001 BUDGET ALLOCATION OF $50, 000, AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPLICABLE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The proposal to move the Fire and Police department radios and antennas to Ocean Towers South Condominium by Radiotronics, Inc. , of Jupiter, Florida, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , and the proposal to perform the required site work by William H. Murphy General Contractor, Inc . , of Hobe Sound, Florida, attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and incorporated by reference as part of the Resolution, is hereby approved.
