Regular Council STAFF MEMO Meeting: Regular Council - Oct 12 2023 Staff Contact: Jeffery Snyder, Finance Director Department: Finance TITLE Consider Adoption of Procurement Card Policy and Procedure SUMMARY: The Village is changing Procurement Card Processors. The new approved vendor will be PNC Bank. As the final step in the migration to the new procurement card we need a strong policy and procedure manual for the protection of the Village. This will 1) Provide for an efficient and cost effective method of procurements and paying for goods and services, 2) Reduce the use of check requests, purchase orders, and blanket purchase orders. 3) Reduces the time and effort spent processing low dollar transactions, 4and 4) Provide for disciplinary action if the procurement cards are misused.
