TITLE
Council Consideration to Sponsor the Meals on Wheels "Pie-it-Forward" 2023 Fundraiser and Serve
as a Corporate Pickup Site
SUMMARY:
Meals on Wheels has requested the Village of Tequesta participate in their Annual Pie-it-Forward
fundraiser and serve as a Corporate Pickup Site. This will include the Village sending out
communications to staff and residents with a link to our "pie team" encouraging them to purchase pies.
When staff/residents order under the Team VOT link, they will be given the option to select from four
public pickup sites or the Village Hall pickup site.
Pies will be delivered to Village Hall for distribution to those who selected the Village Hall site All pies
are distributed/available for pickup one day, Tuesday of Thanksgiving week (11/21).
The Village will have the option to set up the two hour pickup window (Ex. 11-1 PM or 4-6 PM) that is
convenient for us. Meals for Wheels volunteers will drop off those orders an hour or so before our pre-
determined pickup time.
