Public Notice is hereby given that the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, will hold a Public Hearing during the Village Council meeting Thursday,
September 13, 2001, commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the Tequesta Recreation Center,
300 Seabrook Road, Tequesta, Florida, to consider:
Public Hearing for Budget Adoption and Millage Rate Adoption.
i. Ordinance—First Reading—An Ordinance of the Village Council of the
Village of Tequesta,Palm Beach County,Florida, providing for the adoption
of the budgets for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2001—JoAnn
Forsythe, Finance Director
ii. Ordinance—First Reading—An Ordinance of the Village Council of the
Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, providing for levying a
millage rate of$6.73 05 per$1,000.00 of taxable valuation for the Fiscal Year
2001/2002 providing an effective date—JoAnn Forsythe, Finance Director
At such time and place, the Village Council will hear all evidence in support of or in
opposition to this ordinance. You are advised that if any person decides to appeal
any decision made by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at
the Public Hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose
he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which
record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Ordinance—Planning Agency Hearing--An Ordinance of the Village Council of the
Village of Tequesta, Florida, amending the adopted Comprehensive Plan pursuant to
Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, and Chapters 9J-5 and 9J-11, Florida Administrative Code,
applying a residential low density land use classification to a portion of real property
located on the north side of Riverside Drive, west of and adjacent to Tequesta Pines
Subdivision and the southern portion of Chapel Court Subdivision containing
approximately 15.23 acres, providing for a revision to the Village's Future Land Use Map;
providing for codification, severability, and effective date and for other purposes.
At such time and place, the Village Council will hear all evidence in support of or in
opposition to this ordinance. You are advised that if any person decides to appeal
any decision made by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at
the Public Hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose

Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, Annexing into the Village parcels of land,
which are contiguous to the Village limits, owned by Roy S. Rood and Patricia M.
1 Rood, a residential property located on the north side of Riverside Drive,west of and
adjacent to Tequesta Pines subdivision containing approximately 15.23 acres;
providing a legal description of the property proposed to be annexed; redefming the
boundaries of the Village to include said real property; providing for repeal of all
ordinances in conflict; providing for severability; providing for an effective date;
providing for advertising; and providing that this Ordinance shall be filed with the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County,Florida,and Florida Department of
State upon adoption.
At such time and place, the Village Council will hear all evidence in support of or in
opposition to this ordinance. You are advised that if any person decides to appeal

The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,Florida,will conduct a Village Council
Meeting on Thursday, September 13, 2001, commencing at 7:00 PM in the Tequesta
Recreation Center, 300 Seabrook Road, Tequesta, Florida, for the Purpose of
Conducting Village Business.
For your information, an agenda of the items to be acted upon by the Village Council at
the September 13, 2001, Village Council Meeting will be available on Monday,
September 10, 2001, at the Village Manager's Office, located at 250 Tequesta Drive.
