First Baptist Church Free-Standing Sign .

This letter is to confirm the action of the Village of Tequesta Community Appearance Board at
their meeting of November 19, 1997, denying your application for the installation of a 7 high X
8' wide free-standing sign of sandblasted redwood, single-faced, reading "An Ocean of Love"
"Worship Service 10:30 A.M." as presented. The Board denied this application because they felt .
• that "the poles looked like a dock and did not match the church and suggested that an element of
the church be used in the sign".
As you were advised at the meeting,you have the following options:
1. Return with a different sign,which will need to be reviewed by the Village Council;
2. Drop the application,
3. Appeal to the Village Council.

erlt of subsection(I) of these regulations and up
fifty (b0) percent of the approved'sign may be
used as a changeable letter reader sign.
2, Wall sign;One(1)wau eiramted'sign per building
shall be allowed,not to exceed twenty(20)square
feet in total area and be constructed using indi-
vidual raised letters'and/or be-metal plaque type
sign& .
3. Monument sign: One.(1) ground based monument
sign shall be n to .twenty_.(20)

square-feet in:area, a maximum height of four (4)
feet.above finish grade and shall meet the setback
requirement Of subsection(I)of then.regulations.
4. Multiple wall signs shall-be allowed,providing that
• :the total square foot area does:not-exceed twenty

to style, color and aign'material. •
