• Attended the Village Council Meeting on September loth at
7 : 00 p.m.
• Met with Public Works employee at 10 :30 a.m. on September
14th.
• A staff meeting was conducted at 10 : 00 a.m. on September
15th wherein the following items were discussed:
1 . Reviewed funding options with the Director of Public
Works for extension of Tequesta Drive median in front
of former Alex Webster Restaurant.
2 . Water System Manager was requested to report on
status of demolition of storage tank at Village Hall
property.
3 . Water System Manager requested to provide status of
rate analyst project.
4 . Director of Public Works reported that FEMA Grant
Agreement for Tequesta Drive Drainage Project to be
on the Village Council Agenda for September 22'1.
5 . Director of Public Works questioned procedures for
closeout of purchase orders issued in current fiscal
year.
6 . Director of Public Works reported pickup of FDOT
Bridge Report in Ft. Lauderdale that day.
7 . Village Clerk sought approval for conversion of Xerox
machine to fax capabilities .
8 . Water System Manager requested Village Manager to
select roof tile for RO Treatment Plant.
9 . Water System Manager reported that grant availability
for water system extensions were few, but that the
State Revolving Loan Fund appeared to be available
for such projects .

10 . Chief of Police reported that Special Master
contract/appointment was required prior to October
10th.
11 . A discussion was held relative to the efficacy of the
Victim Advocate Program.
12 . Finance Director sought information relative to
budgetary charges for copy machine in water
department.
13 . Finance Director reported that fixed-asset inventory
control to, be done now prior to close of fiscal year
for all items over $750 in value.
14. Fire Chief reported on the results of the staff
meeting relative to hurricane preparation.
• Attended the Board of Directors Meeting of the Chamber of
Commerce at 7 :45 a.m. on September 16th
• Met with the Director of Public Works and the President of
the JTAA at 9 : 00 a.m. on September 16th.
• Attended the Mayor/Manager's Meeting at 4 : 00 p.m. in Juno
Beach on September 16th.
• Met with Vice-Mayor Hansen at noon on September 17th.
