Tanner Industries, Inc. was the lowest, most responsible, and responsive bidder who met all specifications . Tanner Industries has also provided all entities within the Co-Op adequate service in past years. All participating entities concur with the recommendation of award to Tanner Industries. The purpose of this bid is to establish a firm price per pound for Anhydrous Ammonia for disinfection of water from a source that would provide prompt service and convenient shipment. Contract period will be from January 7, 1998 through January 6, 1999 . In light of the above, the Village of Tequesta Water Department is seeking authorization to purchase Anhydrous Ammonia from Tanner Industries, Inc. of Philadelphia, PA, in the estimated quantity of 7, 500 pounds, at $0 . 184 cents per pound, totaling $1,380 .00 . Funding for this expenditure will be provided by the Water Enterprise Fund Pumping and Storage Division, Chemicals line item, having an FY 98 Budget allocation of $44, 836 .00 . Project Graduation provides graduating Seniors for 1998 a safe and enjoyable evening of celebration, drug and alcohol free. For at least the past two years, the Village Council has provided $1,000 to Project Graduation. I recall a discussion wherein the amount given would be reduced to $500 this year. In the event that you are interested in once again funding this request, it is recommended that said expense be charged to the. Water Enterprise Fund, Aid to Community Organizations Account, which has a FY 1998 budget allocation of $10, 000.
