All Department Heads were reminded to have their employees RSVP for Christmas Party. 2. The Director of Community Development was requested to report on the status of Ordinance No. 377 compliance at former Claire Malone property. 3. Director of Public Works was questioned as to feasibility of reissuing annual contract for all Tequesta landscape work. 4. All Department Heads were advised that Village Manager approval is not needed to process contractor payments and that Finance Department will not issue checks to . contractor until voucher is signed by Village Manager. 5. All Department Heads reminded that change orders are to be approved by the Village Manager and encumbered prior to payment. 6. All Departments were advised that Internet surfing during working hours was prohibited and that viewing of. pornographic materials on Internet or otherwise is prohibited and to advise their personnel of same via memorandum. 7 . Director of Public Works was questioned as to Benoit response to Capretta entrance amendment proposal. 8. Director of Community Development was reminded of Hernandez property annexation understanding and to advise his personnel of the same. 9 . Director of Community Development advised that Library hedge needed to be fixed on south border. 10. Director of Public Works was requested to provide status of capital improvement projects pert charts. 11. Director of Public Works requested to have Stormwater Utility Coordinator report his recommendations on stormwater certification course for Village purposes. 12. Village Clerk was instructed to get a budget .quote for creating a Web Page for Village of Tequesta. 13. Director of Community Development was instructed to schedule separate meetings with South Cypress Drive property owners to persuade to streetscape vs. individual Ordinance No. 377 plans and to begin such with VanderWaal. 14. All Department Heads questioned as to their receipt of monthly Budget Summary Reports for December. Director of Finance indicated same would be distributed in two days. 15. Director of Public Works was requested to add sidewalk to Pinehill Trail West in Capital Improvement Budget plan. 16. Director of Public Works reminded of concerts in the Park and to schedule same. 17 . Director of Community Development was questioned regarding desire to hook his Department into existing computer network. 18. Water System Manager was requested to report on water demand for November, monitor monthly and report problems and results to village Manager via monthly Water Report. 19. Water System Manager requested to get a quotation from Robert Orie for comprehensive rate review, including capital connection charges, with goal of eliminating or significantly altering step-rates upon RO implementation. 20. Director of Finance reminded of Charter required Interim Financial Report to be provided by December 31, 1997 . 21. Director of Public Works was advised of plans to schedule Public Works Committee Meeting as soon as possible to advise of Project funding shortfall for Recreation Center construction and report on fund sources with Director of Finance input on same. 22 . Water System Manager was questioned as to whereabouts of letter to all reserved capacity owners advising of forthcoming monthly charge for same. 23 . Water System Manager was requested to provide a cost estimate for water mains in Tropic Vista. 24. Chief of Police was requested to have the Code Enforcement Officer make recommendation on minutes for Special Master. 25. Water System Manager was questioned as to whereabouts of yellow flasher on white Jeep. 26. Director of Public Works was questioned as to when Stormwater Coordinator would construct weir and rip-rap in Dover Ditch. 27 . The Director of Community Development. was reminded of need to process Tequesta' s permit for Reverse Osmosis Plant. 28. Director of Finance suggested that all Departments add vendor numbers to pay approvals. Memorandum from Director of Finance for instructions on same to follow. 29 . The Fire Chief provided Fire Department data. 30. Director of Public Works advised of desire to hold Bike Rodeo on February 21 at Recreation Center and inability to commit to same until Construction Fund analysis done. 31. Director of Public Works advised of seminar attendance. 32 . Director of Public Works advised of request for seagrapes at southeast corner of Tequesta Drive Bridge. 33. Director of Public Works sought okay to remove lights at Village Hall. 34. Chief of Police questioned need for a fire lane at Gallery Square North. 35. Chief of Police expressed concern relative to style of parking signs at Tequesta Oaks. 36. Chief of Police expressed employee concerns relative to Doctor changes under medical plan. 37. Water System Manager posed a question relative to reporting on monthly water sales. 38. Director of Community Development sought direction relative to address stencils, same rejected by Village Manager. ti • Met with the new Palm Beach Post reporter at 3:30 p.m. on December 9 . • Attended the Village Council Meeting at 7 :00 p.m. on December 11. • Attended the Employee' s Pension Trust Board Meeting at 9 : 00 a.m. on December 15. • Attended the FPL Meeting at the Town of Jupiter at 2 :00 p.m. on December 15. • Attended the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Meeting at 7:45 a.m. on December 17 . • Attended the Manager/Finance Director Monthly Meeting in Jupiter at 12:00 Noon on December 17 . ■ Met with potential purchaser of Tequesta Plaza at 10:00 a.m. on December 18. • Met with Vice Mayor Hansen at Noon on December 18. • Attended the Chamber of Commerce Open House at 4:00 p.m. on December 18. • Attended the Employee Christmas Party at 2:00 p.m. on December 19. ■ A Staff Meeting was held on December 23 at 10:00 a.m. wherein the following items were'discussed: 1. The Director of Community Development was requested to look into the possibility that underground tank removal was required in all instances by December of 1998. 2. Director of Community Development was requested to provide a status report relative to the CDBG Grant Program for Tequesta Drive Drainage Diversion Project. 3. Director of Public Works was requested to add Tequesta Oaks streets to the 15-year Repaving Plan effective 12/11/12. 4. Director of Public Works advised that Public Services Facility condition was unacceptable. 5. Chief of Police and Fire Chief were questioned relative to location of new communications antennae. 6. All Department Heads were reminded that personnel within their Departments on the Safety Committee were required to attend Safety Committee Meetings. 7. Director of Finance was questioned relative to disposition of non-refunded $7 .00 Jupiter surcharge upon settlement of rate dispute. 9� • 8 . Director of Public Works was requested to provide status of worker' s compensation case and to make regular contact with employee. 9. Director of Finance was requested to ensure reduction of sick leave balances for those choosing to convert. 10. Director of Finance was asked as to whereabouts of promised monthly Budget Summary Report for December. 11. Director of Finance once again reminded of Interim Financial Report requirement prior to close of calendar year. 12 . Director of Community Development was requested to provide computation method for comp time for part-time personnel. 13. Director of Community Development was requested to respond to DEP Brownfield's Survey. 14. Fire Chief sought direction relative to employee computer services off-hours. 15. Director of Community Development submitted pert charts for all capital projects. 16. Director. of Public Works sought input relative to proposed concerts in Park. 17. Chief of Police requested Village Manager execution of Service Agreement for emergency generator. 18. Chief of Police sought direction relative to sick leave usage. 19 .
