Enclosed, please fmd a proposal and Installment Purchase Agreement for one (1) Xerox 5322
Photostatic Copier from American Document Solutions of Stuart, FL, Xerox Authorized Sales
Agent, for the Police Department. The proposed Agreement provides favorable financing terms
over 36 months, a 36 month full on-site service maintenance warranty, and a 12 month Total
Satisfaction Guarantee.
Funds have been allocated in the Fiscal Year 1998 General Fund Budget for the annual cost of
installment purchase,including full-service maintenance.
The purchase of this copier for the Police Department is necessary due to the recent relocation of
the existing Xerox copier from the Village Hall building to the Annex building. Presently, the
Police Department is using a"loaner" copier from American Document Solutions.
It is my recommendation that the Village Council approve the Resolution authorizing the Village
Manager to execute the Installment Purchase Agreement for one (1) Xerox 5322 Photostatic
Copier in order to provide a much needed,permanent copier for the Police Department.

FLORIDA, APPROVING INSTALLMENT PURCHASE
AGREEMENT FOR ONE (1) XEROX 5322 PHOTOSTATIC
COPIER WITH XEROX CORPORATION (AMERICAN

AUTHORIZED SALES AGENT) , IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,837.20 PER YEAR, AND AUTHORIZING THE
VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON
BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
I VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Installation Purchase Agreement for One ( 1)
5322 Photostatic Copier with Xerox Corporation (American
Document Solutions, Xerox Authorized Agent) , attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as .part of this
Resolution, is hereby approved and the Village Manager of
the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the same on
behalf of the Village og Tequesta.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember
