Subject: Establishment of Village Council Priorities and
Village Manager Objectives; Agenda Item
The Village Council has completed the ranking of the Village
Council submitted Priorities and Village Manager Objectives,
pursuant to the process established at your last Meeting. A copy
of the submitted Priorities and objectives with their
corresponding alphabetical assignment, as well as the Scoresheet
tabulation for each, is attached for your review.
The top five Village Council priorities as established by the
Village Council are as follows :
1. Work with DiVosta, Fehlhaber, and Lighthouse Gallery to
develop a plan for a Village Center at the present Tequesta

of $3 million dollars for new Village facilities.

program.

Department.
5. Work with Palm Beach County, Jupiter, and Martin County to
stem increased traffic through Tequesta.
* If you left a submitted priority blank because you felt it was a duplicate or
unimportant, I assigned the priority a score of 1.
The top five Village Manager Objectives as established by the
Village Council are as follows :

A) expansion or B) sale.
2. Develop plans and proposals for a "New Tequesta Downtown" ;

Once the Village Council establishes the Village Council
Priorities and Village Manager Objectives by the adoption of a
motion, staff will proceed to address the same. Monthly status
reports will be provided to the Village Council on the Village
Manager Objectives .
The establishment of Village Council Priorities and Village
Manager Objectives does not mean that other issues will not be
addressed during the course of the next year, but rather that the
focus of the Village Council and Village Manager/staff for the
immediate future will be on those issues established by the
Village Council.
