The Building Official was requested to notify those who had issued a Letter of Intent to comply with Ordinance No. 377 to proceed to the next step in the process. 2 . The Building Official was reminded to comply with Village Council request for update on Ordinance 377 compliance. 3. The Village Clerk was requested to implement the computer set up as suggested by Councilmember Meder. 4. All Department Heads were asked their need for summer interns . 5 . Water System Manager was directed to schedule a meeting of effective Departments relative to Central Garage Project and any modifications associated therewith. 6. Fire Chief Weinand sought specific comments on Computer Network specifications. 7 . Fire Chief Weinand sought information relative to pay out policies about the communities as may be recorded by Florida League of Cities. 8. Chief Weinand advised of the Statewide Disaster Committee strongly suggesting that Tequesta become a part of the same for disaster relief. 9 . Chief Roderick advised of confiscated vehicle sequestered by his department. 10. Chief Roderick made a Drug-Free Work Place policy inquiry. 11 . Chief Roderick advised that COPS FAST revenue had been received and had been held by the Finance Department. 12 . Water System Manager advised that he was scheduling Safety Committee Meeting. 13 . Building Official advised that Sterling House permit had been issued for $25,000. 14. Building Official advised of Mobile Oil submittal for Department Head review. 15. Building Official advised of DiVosta submittal for Department Head review. • 16 . Village Clerk advised of Constitution Park Grand Opening event and sought volunteers from all Departments to help operate same. ■ Attended the Department Community Development Budget Review session at 10:00 A.M. on May 15. ■ Met with Commissioner Marcus at 1:00 P.M. on May 16 Regarding Camelot Proposal. ■ Met with CWA Officials at 4:00 P.M. on May 16. ■ Met with the Building Official at 10:00 A.M. on May 17 . ■ Met with Martin Perry, Judy DaVersa and Mayor Mackail at 9 :00 A.M. on May 20. ■ Attended the Public Works Committee Meeting at 7 : 00 P.M. on May 20. ■ Attended the Florida City/County Manager' s Association Annual Conference in Sarasota from 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 21, through Friday, May 24 . ■ A Staff Meeting was conducted on May 28, 1996, at 10:00 A.M. , wherein the following items were discussed. 1 . The Director of Public Works was requested to provide a status report relative to the proposed Country Club Drive Streetlight Project. 2 . The Director of Public Works and the Water System Manager requested to seek mylar set of all Village plans on file with Gee & Jenson. 3 . The Finance Director was requested to provide the stormwater/garbage assessment public hearing dates . 4. The Director of Public Works was requested to provide a maintenance program for Village Hall landscaping. 5. Director of Public Works was requested to check on Beach Road mulch and groundcover. 6. The Fire Chief and Police Chief- were requested to provide the status of their benchmark reports requested of the Village Manager. 7 . Director of Public Works was requested to provide status report relative to FPL light for rear parking lot at Village Hall Complex. 8. The Building Official was asked the status of the Concurrency Annual Report that was due on May 24. 9 . The Director of Finance was advised that the Firefighter Pension Plan required Board of Trustees to approve change in beneficiaries for all firefighters. 10. Chief of Police was requested to confirm that the Code Enforcement Officer was reviewing all commercial properties bi-annually within the Village. 11. The Director of Public Works sought direction for the landscape architect designing Seabrook Road Beautification Project. 12 . The Chief of Police advised that a No-Thru truck sign would be installed at the intersection of P•ineview and Cypress Drives. 13 . Chief of. Police advised that traffic survey card failure would necessitate additional traffic survey of Beach Road. 14. Chief of Police advised that the Olympic Torch Run would be on July 4. 15 . The Water System Manager provided the Village Manager with a copy of the RO Discharge Permit issued by DEP. 16 . Building Official advised that Concurrency Report was late and needed one additional month to receive agency responses to same. 17 . Village Clerk sought input on Constitution Park prohibition signage. 18 . Village Clerk requested two men from Public Works be granted overtime assignment for Grand Opening Event. 19 . Fire Chief advised that the Tequesta Country Club would be injecting methobromide commencing on June 4. 20. Finance Director advised that he had presented Village Manager with direct deposit authorization • as a Village Council Agenda item. 21 . Finance Director advised that a budget revision was needed for the Village Council Meeting on June 13. • Attended a meeting at Attorney Shuey' s office in West Palm Beach in the matter of Campbell v.
