O A Staff Meeting was held on June 8, 1993, wherein the following items were discussed: 1) The Chief of Police was requested to prepare a Police Officer Eligibility List in advance of any job openings • to avoid overtime expenditure for filling said positions. 2) The Building Official was requested to provide an overview of the Village Square Shopping Center sign issue. 3) The. Water System Manager was requested to provide a status report on the hydropneumatic tank project. Page 3- 4) The Building Official confirmed inclusion of group homes, etc. within the R-3 zoning district. 5 ) The Finance Director was requested to amend operations to the fullest extent possible in order to eliminate auditor segregation of duty comments in light of new additional Water Department clerical person. 6) The Chief of Police discussed complaints regarding vehicle parking within the right-of-way of Country Club Drive and the need for an ordinance addressing the same. 7 ) The Chief of Police was instructed to mandate spinal x- rays for all future Police Department employees to establish a baseline of such condition. 8) The Water System Manager was requested to provide a written response to Don Morris and his account inquiries . 9) The input of all Department Heads was requested relative to the feasibility on a dress-down day on Fridays, as is done in other municipalities. 10) The Building Official was requested to determine the Level of Service of Country Club Drive in Martin County. 11) The Water System Manager was requested to give an overview of the boil water order and the emergency generator problem which occurred by virtue of said power failure. 12) The Director of Public Works provided an update of temporary relocation of equipment to storage bays. 13) The Director of Public Works provided an overview of a shoaling problem at 178 Country Club Drive within the canal adjacent thereto. 14) The Fire Chief indicated he was awaiting receipt of signed and sealed construction documents from the engineer for the garage renovation. 15) The Fire Chief announced conclusion of his interviews with the lieutenant applicants. 16) The Water System Manager provided a status report on the proposed Bulk Rate Agreement with the Town of Jupiter. Page 4- 17 ) The Water System Manager was instructed to secure the necessary U-2 Permit from Martin County for the pipeline extension associated with the Well 25, 26 & 27 Project within the right-of-way of Country Club Drive in order to proceed with the Project pursuant to Martin County's expressed deadlines and to allow the Village time to react to any last minute Martin County extractions . 18 ) The Village Clerk provided an overview of the possibility of additional recycling bins needed to comply with any Solid Waste Authority mandates commencing in March of 1994 . O Attended the Community Appearance Board Meeting on June 9, wherein site plan review approval of the proposed temporary fire-rescue living quarters was granted. O Attended the Public Safety Committee Meeting on June 9 . O Attended the Staff Budget Meeting for the Department of Community Development. O Attended the Village Council Meeting on June 10. O Attended the Staff Public Works Budget Meeting. O Attended the Staff Water Department Budget Hearing. O Attended the Staff Capital Improvement Fund and Garbage/Recycling Budget Hearing. O Attended the North County Planning Forum Meeting at Palm Beach Gardens City Hall. 0 Reviewed the alleged drainage/shoaling problem within the canal adjacent to 178 Country Club Drive with the Director of Public Works . /krb
