Ladd, Building Official od- DATE: June 15, 1993 SUBJECT: Alteration of existing Public Works Garage• into a Fire Station and installation of temporary crew quarters. Village Hall Complex 357 Tequesta Drive Tom, the Community Appearance, Board reviewed the above referenced project on June 9, 1993. The following concerns were expressed by the Board regarding this proposed project: NONE Motion to approve the proposed project subject to the following conditions: 1. That the manufactured building be white. 2. That the . roofing material be as light colored' a roof as possible. Vote on the motion: 5—O to approve. Additional Board Comments: NONE • • Building Official Comments: With regard to the placement of the crew quarters manufactured building within the retention/detention area at the north side of the Public Works- Garage, it is the Village' s intent that the proposed building is a temporary facility and, that it be secured to concrete pier pads elevated above the average grade of the retention area so that the free flow of any ' . stormwater runoff may collect under the facility thereby not causing any decrease in the ability of the retention. area to properly function. As a matter of historical significance, I have witnessed the collection of standing water in the retention area on only one occasion ten to twelve years ago after two back to back major rain storms. The soil percolation rates are extremely efficient as a result of the composition of the soil surrounding the Village Hall Complex. This letter is to confirm the action of the Village of Tequesta Community Appearance Board at the June 9, 1993 meeting approving your application for the above referenced project subject to the following conditions: • 1. That the manufactured building be white. 2. That the roofing material be as light colored a roof as possible. As you are 'aware, this proposed project must go before the Village Council for Special. Exception Public Hearing and for Site Plan Review, and has been placed on the agenda of the Council meeting scheduled for Thursday. June 24, 1993, beginning at 7: 00 P. M. in the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta. You and/or your representative must be in attendance at this meeting to present your application and answer any questions the Council may have.
