O A Staff Meeting was held on June 29, 1993, wherein the
following items were discussed:
1) The Water System Manager was requested to review
additional measures to disseminate information regarding
boil water notices .
2) The Director of Public Works requested to initiate sign
design changes for Village Hall in conjunction with
parking lot renovation in FY 94.
3) The Chief of Police was requested to provide a status
report on tractor-trailer removal from Lighthouse Plaza.
4) The Water System Manager was questioned as to the
appearance of the Water Treatment Plant.
5) Director of Public Works . was requested to make
arrangements to address 'any erosion problems at Dover
Ditch on an emergency basis.
6) Chief of Police was requested to provide a status report
relative to his Communications Dispatch Center Remodeling
Project and asked not to delay same.

7 ) The Fire Chief expressed concerns regarding the closing
of Tequesta Drive and Village Manager agreed to meet with
appropriate officials regarding same.
8 ) Fire Chief requested clarification regarding Village
purchasing policy.
9 ) The Director of Public Works presented Waterway Road
intersection improvement plans and Village Manager made
changes to the same.
10) Director of Public Works discussed, personnel matters .
11 ) Chief of Police discussed the Community Service Program
and desire of Village to not participate in the same.
12) Water System Manager sought a response regarding revenue
review.
13 ) Water System Manager was requested to expeditiously
conclude negotiations for Well 25 .
14) Water System Manager was again informed of procedures
regarding acquisition of U-2 Permit from Martin County.
15) Village Clerk reviewed plans for the purchase of
additional recycling bins .
16) The date, time and place of the Village Employee Picnic
was set.
17) Fire-Rescue Department tentative christening activities
were reviewed.
O Attended a meeting with Managers and Finance. Directors of
Jupiter and Juno Beach.
O Attended the North County Planning Forum in the City of Palm
Beach Gardens.
O Attended the Palm Beach County City Managers Association
Meeting.
O Met with Palm Beach County Officials to review the Tequesta
Branch Library.
0 Attended the Finance and Administration Committee Meeting.

O Met with Councilmember Capretta and Paul Brienza, Chairman of
the Code Enforcement Board, to discuss potential improvements
in the code enforcement process .
O Attended the Village Budget Workshop Meeting on July 13 .
O Met with Jupiter Inlet Colony Officials to finalize Fire-
Rescue Service Contract.
O Attended the Village Council Budget Workshop Meeting on July
15 .
O Attended the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council Meeting
in Stuart on July 16, Regarding Connector Road.
O A Staff Meeting was conducted on July 13, 1993, wherein the
following items were discussed:
1) The Village Clerk was reminded to inform all Title
Companies in writing of the Village's planned increase in
Certification of Liens .
2) The Village Clerk was reminded to provide a letter to the
North County Education Committee seeking their input on
reservation of this year's funding allocations .
3) A discussion was held of all Departments regarding access
to the State of Florida Contracts in the Department of
Management Services wherein it was decided that the Water
Department would secure a modem in order to maintain
electronic access to State Contracts.
4) The Chief of Police was questioned as to when the roofer
was to commence work.
5) The Chief of Police was requested to detertmine the
status of the DeLuca property and the overgrown grass.
6) Chief Weinand gave a report on his analysis of revenue
from fire inspection fees and the feasibility of placing
the same on occupational license notices.
7) - The Director of Public Works sought direction regarding
responsibility for the driveway serving Community Savings
Bank.

8) The Chief of Police inquired if any citizens had noted
the Letter to the Editor regarding traffic on Seabrook
Road.
9 ) Chief of Police informed staff regarding problems with
the removal of the radio tower during re-roofing of
Village Hall .
10) The Water System Manager indicated that he had purchased
a sign for placement in front of Village Hall in the
event of a future boil water order.
11 ) The Water System Manager gave an update on the
acquisition of the remaining easement necessary for the
Well 25, 26 and 27 Project.
12) The Water Sytem Manager indicated that a engineering
services contract for construction phase observation of
the lead abatement project on the AlA Bridge would be
needed at the August 12 Council Meeting.
13) The Village Clerk presented a model budget transfer memo
for consideration.
14) The Village Clerk indicated the Solid Waste Authority was
seeking to increase local commercial recycling programs .
15) The Village Clerk gave a report on telephone hook-ups .
The Department of Community Development Monthly Building Report for
the Months of May and June, 1993, are attached hereto and, made a
part of this Report.
The Water Department Monthly Water Usage Report and Monthly Water
Quality Analysis for the Month of June, 1993, is attached hereto
and made a part of this Report.
