O Held a Meeting with Developers Interested in the Acquisition of Lighthouse Plaza. O Letter to Joe Collins Regarding an Ordinance Amending Sign . Regulations for Open House Directional Signs . O Memorandum to Village Council Regarding ENCON; Stormwater Advisory Committee. O Letter to Lee Evett, Town Manager, Town of Jupiter, Regarding the North County Education Committee; Tequesta Representative. O Letter to Linda Monroe, Councilmember, City of Palm Beach Gardens, Regarding Planning Forum Funding Contribution. O Memorandum to All Department Heads Regarding Departmental Budget Review Hearings; Annual Budget and Financial Plan Document. O Conducted a Staff Meeting on May 11, 1993, commencing at 2 :30 P.M. in the Conference Room, wherein the following items were discussed: 1) Informed the Director of Finance that Scottsdale Insurance would be invoicing the Village for the deductible on the policy relative to Thomson vs. Village of Tequesta. 2) The Finance Director sought direction relative to the implementation of a risk control program and the Village Manager provided him with a general outline in implementing the same as risk manager. 3) The Director of Finance indicated he would continue to work on the retirement program for firefighters and the bonding report to the Finance and Administration Committee. Rri-veirtf Paper Village Manager's Report Page 2- 4) The Director of Public Works sought direction on the Waterway Road Project and how to deal with the applicable property owner and the FDOT. 5) The revised Dover Ditch construction cost estimate was reveiwed with much consternation. 6) The Director of Public Works gave an overview of the Gallery Square North Right-of--Way Improvement Project and the desires of the primary owner of Gallery Square North relative to the same. 7 ) The Tree Board and their streetscape plans for Tequesta Drive were discussed. 8) The Building Official indicated that he would review the budget to reroof Village Hall, phasing in different ' sections of the roof, checking the feasibility of the same with the applicable contractor. 9 ) The Village Clerk reminded all of the forthcoming Blood Bank Drive. 10) The Village Clerk indicated that the AARP was willing to provide volunteers to the Village. 11) The Village Clerk reviewed various communications costs and increases in the same from Bell South for the upcoming fiscal year for budgetary purposes . 12) The Village Clerk indicated once again, the anticipated need for additional recycling bins by virtue of the Solid Waste Authority accepting increased recyclable materials beginning in March of 1994. It was requested that efforts be reviewed to place the Village Logo on all future recycling bins. 13) The Village Clerk announced that the Summer Party this year would be held in September in order to accomodate the new firefighter employees. 14) The Village Clerk sought newsletter items from all Department Heads. 0 Attended the Public Safety Committee Meeting on May 12 . 0 Attended the North County Planning Forum Meeting at Palm Beach Gardens on May 12. 0 Attended the Village Council Meeting on May 13. 1 Village Manager's Report Page 3- O Attended the Governmental Stormwater Advisory Committee Meeting at ENCON on May 17 .
