Bradford, Village Manager — DATE: May 21, 1993 SUBJECT: Historical Committee of Tequesta Village; Agenda Item. At the Village Council Meeting on May 13, Councilmember Schauer requested that some type of organizational change relative to the Historical Committee of Tequesta Village be made by the Village Council so that those members regularly attending can meet to do the work of. the Committee without having the problem of needing a quorum to conduct business. I thought that Councilmember Capretta's suggestion to create an Executive Committee of the Historical Committee had merit in that such an Executive. Committee could be formed from the existing Committee membership without - having to eliminate any of the current members. Therefore, I have created the attached Resolution which revises the organization of the Historical Committee by creating an Executive Committee to be formed by the Chair. The Executive Committee can meet as often as necessary and such meetings will constitute official meetings of the Historical Committee. Hopefully, this will be satisfactory or, at least, can serve as a basis for making changes that Council feels will be beneficial.
