KEPT. Engineers-Architects- Planners,Inc. • September 10, 1992 VIA FAX City of Tequesta 357 Tequesta Drive Tequesta, FL 33469 Attn: Mr. Scott Ladd, Building Official Re: Exxon Site 4-2054 Dear Mr. Ladd: As you know, the Village of Tequesta has approved a site plan for the above referenced site. This approval is due to expire on November 5, 1992. Exxon Company, U.S.A. had originally planned to begin construction on this project late in 1992. However, due to the enormous amount of damage sustained by existing Exxon facilities in Dade County due to the recent hurricane, Exxon has been forced to shift their priorities, as well as funds previously allocated for new construction, to repair and replace their Dade County sites. While Exxon is still very desirous of developing this site, it has become necessary to push back development until sometime in 1993. Based on the reasons set forth in this letter, as agents for Exxon Company, U.S.A.., we are hereby petitioning the Village of Tequesta City Council for a one year extension of the site plan approval. Since time could be a critical factor in obtaining this extension, we respectfully request that this item be placed on the earliest City .Council meeting agenda possible. • Your consideration in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Should you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact this office. Very truly yours, Peter J. Co ussy PJC:bk 91-101(31X) cc: Mr. Tom Kudele, Exxon Mr. Mark D.
