O Memorandum to Village Council Regarding Cypress Drive Drainage Project. O A Staff Meeting was Held on August 25 at 2:30 P.M. in the Conference Room, Wherein the Following was Discussed: ( In light of Hurricane Andrew, this Staff Meeting was devoted entirely to improvements to the Village Hurricane Plan) a) It was requested. that a separation of the Finance Director and Village Clerk responsibilities be clearly delineated. b) All, Departments would be henceforth responsible for protecting and covering equipment and records. c) The Water Department would be responsible for securing the ammonia tanks at the Treatment Plant. d) Mr. Hall was requested to create a protocol for the remote locating of the portable emergency generator. e) All Departments were requested to develop a protocol for the designation of on-call personnel, using a rotating schedule. f) The need for a Village owned fuel site was discussed with the conclusion that the same would be sought when a new public works facility is constructed. g) Provision for the securing of newspaper racks was discussed. h) Mr. Ladd pointed to a need for strengthening requirements to secure construction sites. 0 Letter to John C. Wherein the Following was Discussed: a) Mr. Preston was urged to seek Gee & Jenson' s input to the concept of requiring a permit for the discharge of non- Village water into the Dover Ditch. b) Mr. Preston and Mr. Kascavelis were requested to provide an annual maintenance cost for Tequesta Drive and Country Club Drive in conjunction with Gee & Jenson. c) Inquired of Mr. Ladd as to the estimated date of arrival for the part-time occupational license personnel. d) Requested Ms. Manganiello to secure the services of a • temporary part-time person to purge files in the Administrative. Offices and in the records retention area located in Jupiter. e) Chief Roderick was requested to provide a status report on the Palm Beach County Vehicle for Hire Ordinance. O Letter to Jim Weeks, Florida Power & Light, Regarding Proposed Powerline Along Old Dixie Highway in Tequesta.
