SUBJECT: Petition for annexation of a parcel of land located west
of Seabrook Road and north of Dover Road known as Lot 512.
Tom, attached are nine ( 9) sets of packets for the above referenced
subject. Each packet contains the following items:
1. Copy of proposed Village ordinance annexing the above referenced
parcel of land.
2. Petition for annexation.
3. Legal description of the above referenced parcel of land.
4. Location map of the above referenced parcel of land.
5. Portion of a survey of Lot 512.
6. Warranty Deed indicating Village of Tequesta ownership of Lot
512.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Subsection 29 of Section 4.02
of Article IV of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta and
Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, the Village Council may annex
any lands adjoining the territorial boundaries of said
municipality and upon the petition of the owner or owners
thereof: and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta, the owner of a
certain parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County,
Florida, has filed a petition with the Village Council
requesting that the land described therein be annexed to the
territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Village
Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, as follows:
Section 1. , That the parcel of land owned by the
Village of Tequesta and more particularly described as
follows:
SEE ATTACHED
is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of
Tequesta, Florida, with the same force and effect as though
same had originally been incorporated into the territorial
boundaries thereof. Said property shall be annexed with a
zoning classification of R/OP, Recreation and Open Space,
and with a land use pursuant to the Village Comprehensive
Plan of R/OP, Recreation and Open Space.
Section 2. The parcel of land herein described
shall be subject to all of the ordinances, regulations and
codes of the Village of Tequesta.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect
upon its approval and passage as provided by law.

RE: Proposed Village of Tequesta Ordinances to Annex Two Parcels
of Land.
Dear Mr. Morley:
Attached are copies of two ( 2) proposed ordinances annexing certain
parcels of land into the territorial limits of the Village of
Tequesta. The proposed annexation of the northern. extension of
Coral Cove Park you are familiar with. The other proposed
ordinance annexes a small . 20 acre parcel of land that lies totally
within the Village' s Constitution Park and was recently purchased
by the Village.
•
First reading of the two ordinances is scheduled for August 13,
1992 at the Village Council meeting beginning at 7: 00 P. M. If you
have any comments or concerns regarding these two proposed.
annexations, please contact me prior to the August 13, 1992
meeting.
