SUBJECT: Village Council Appointments to the North County
Education Committee; Agenda Item
As you know, the Interlocal Agreement Regarding Student Assignment
provides for the creation of the North County Education •
Committee. A number of entities have appointments to the
Committee. The Village Council has two appointments.
As of this writing, I am aware of the following appointments:
O Jupiter Town Council-Councilor Barbara Henderson & Jill Barrett
O Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Association of Realtors, Inc. -
Realtor Barbara Klein
I have not yet heard from the Chamber of Commerce or received any
consensus appointment from the Parent-Teacher Organizations of our
local schools. Additionally, I have not received information from
Palm Beach County as to the Board of County Commissioner's
appointments to the Committee.
Mrs. Cheryl Onorato has suggested to me that the Village Council
give consideration to Mrs. Beverly Jones or her husband as an
appointment. The Jones ' are Tequesta residents residing on Shady
Lane.
I would think that Councilman Burckart and Mrs. Cheryl Onorato
would make excellent Tequesta appointments to the Committee.
