This is a two part request : o Allow tor a reduction of landscape materials in the planting strips along the western boarder of the plaza provided that additional materials be placed in the strips lying between Village Boulevard and the rear of the Winn-Dixie. o Allow for the use of Ligustrum as most of the required hedging thereby not fulfilling the 60% native species selection requirement relative to hedge and ground cover only. County Line Plaza Landscaping 500 U. S. Hwy. One North, Tequesta This letter is to confirm the action of the Village of Tequesta Community Appearance Board at the September 18, 1991 meeting approving the application for the new landscape plan for County Line Plaza as submitted and including the following: o Heavier planting on Village Boulevard, particularly on the center island behind Winn Dixie; o The landscaping be completed six months after seeking Village Council approval for a waiver to Ordinance 377 to relocate all plantings behind K-Mart to another location on the project; o The Board supports a waiver to allow for Ligustrum hedge. As you are aware, this proposed project must go before the Village Council for a Landscape Waiver and has been placed on the agenda of the Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, October • 17, 1991 beginning at 7: 00 P. M. in the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta. You and/or your representative must be in attendance at this meeting to present your application and answer any questions the Council may have. If a representative is not present, the Council will withhold action until a later date.
