SUBJECT: Proposal for Change in Zoning District Use and Land Use
from R-1, Single Family Residential with a Land Use
Designation of "Low Density" to R-2, Multiple Family
Residential with a Land Use Designation of "Medium
Density"
Tom, attached are nine ( 9) sets of information packets
regarding the above referenced subject matter. Mike Weiler has a
contract to purchase pending on the finger shaped land at the
corner of Teguesta Drive and Pine Tree Drive which is currently
owned by the First United Presbyterian Church across the street.
Mike would like to receive a Council consensus of opinion with
regard to the feasibility of acceptance by the Village of this
proposal before he closes on the property. His intention is to
erect a ten ( 10) unit multi-family structure on the site if he can
obtain a zoning use change.
Please place this item under Development Matters at an
upcoming Council meeting. His current contract to purchase
extension runs out June 20, 1991. Mike is not looking for a
formal approval at this time but before he makesa major investment
in time and money pursuing this proposal , he wanted to get some
sort of positive feel from the Council .

We have signed a contract to purchase the property
located at the N.W. corner of Tequesta Dr. and Pine
Dr. known as : A PARCEL OF LAND IN GOVERNMENT LOT 6,
,SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 40 SOUTH, RANGE 42 EAST, PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. Currently zoned R-1 and con-
taining 0 .894 acres.
We would like to request the zoning be changed to R-2
• multifamily which concurs with the property located
to the south on Tequesta Dr. known as Whitehall and
across Pine Dr. to the east known as Carriage House.

of Tequesta is aware that Michael Weiler is in the processs of
purchasing lots across the street from the church. The church is
also aware that Mr. Weiler is taking it to the Village Council for

EXTENSIPLy AGREEMENT
We agree to extend the closing date to June 20 , 1991
on the contract between Michael R Weiler and Kathleen
D Weiler, Buyers and The First Presbyterian Church, Sellers
Dated 12-18-90. Subject to Buyers obtaining R2 Zoning
allowing multi-family units .
In the event zoning is not approved this contract becomes null
and void and escrow deposit shall be returned to buyers .
