Bradford: Since education is one of the most important necessities of life to get ahead in the future and the wife of our President (Barbara Bush) is heading a nationwide committee to further this cause, some of the residents of the Jupiter/Tequesta area feel that we could use a building to house part of the College of Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach Community College or Florida International University here in this area. We have many vacant buildings and land that could be used for this purpose. At the moment students and residents of this area must travel for more than an hour to be able to take courses. Our area is rapidly growing and it would be convenient to have such a facility located here. Could you please discuss this matter with the members of our Village Council to see if they would be favorably inclined to look into this matter for our residents? We would appreciate it very much. Sincerely yours , Alfre S. DeMott cc: Presidents Home Owners Association Thomas Morris Board Member of Palm Beach Community College
