Re: Utilities Department Monthly Report
The Utilities Department monthly report for February is found below:
Stormwater
• FDEP Vulnerability Assessment Grant/ Proiect
o $50,000 Resilient Florida grant-received fully executed grant from FDEP
o Survey completed February 26t"—28t" after letters delivered to affected residents
o Results will be updated into GIS system and integrated with the sensitivity analysis
o Submitted reimbursement request to FDEP for$45,500
0 2nd public meeting to be scheduled
o Completion target October 2024 or before
• Dover Ditch—Shared Proiect with Town of Jupiter
o CMA—90%design plans and specs complete—Town of Jupiter comments received and
Tequesta has reviewed—will coordinate comments
o Final design and permitting with the CORPS permit the mission-critical milestone
Water
• Water Treatment Plant Projects- projects are in ongoing stages for the water treatment plant
o Radio/SCADA modifications— Revere is the prime contractor to upgrade the existing 900 MHz
system to a 200 MHz system—project underway
o Membrane replacement design for train#2—Dover Engineering—received bid plans and specs
from Phil Dover 3/1/2024 for review
o Water Treatment Improvements—met with consultant and requested modification of the plans

o WM#2 Beach Rd Phase 2
• "Request for Inclusion" (RFI) submittal to FDEP goes before the committee at the May
meeting—Palm Beach County (PBC) permit still not posted on site, have a verbal but FDEP
needs all documents before putting on the FDEP SRF RFI agenda
• KH's updated engineer's opinion of probable cost-$4.1M (May estimate was$3M)
• PBC permit-they requested additional information and new signed and sealed plans will be
submitted week of March 3rd
