Memorandum
To: Finance & Administration Committee Members
From: Thomas G. Bradford, Village Manager'74>e??
Date: March 11, 1997
Subject: Cost Estimate for Charrette
In the event that the Committee Members are agreeable to my
recommendation to conduct a charrette for the Bridge
Road-Tequesta Plaza area, one of the primary questions will be
what is the estimated cost. In this regard, appearing below,
please find an estimate pertaining to the same.
The charrette is scheduled to be a one-day or eight hour event.
Consultants that would be associated with the same can be
expected to provide an additional eight hours of their time
relative to pre and post planning. Accordingly, the cost of
consultants is estimated to be:
• Planning Consultant @ $75.00 x 16 hours = $1,200.00
• Architectural Services @ $62.33 x 16 hours = $1,000.00
• Landscape Architect Services @ $95.00 x 16 hours =
$1,520.00
• Traffic Engineering Services @ $188.00 x 16 hours --
$3,008.00
• Total: $6,728.00
In addition to the consulting services referenced herein,
accommodations for coffee, soda, and lunch should be included.
These costs are estimated to be:
• Soda: $25.00
• Coffee and Coffee Condiments: $12.00
• Lunch: 50 x $11.70 = $585.00
• Total: $622.00
Based upon the foregoing, the total cost of the charrette to the
Village would be $7,350.00
