Re: Utilities Department Monthly Report
The Utilities Department monthly report for April is found below:
Stormwater
• Maintenance in Anticipation of Hurricane Season
o The utilities team is making sure the catch basins are clear in anticipation
o Stormwater pipe lining has been completed for this year
• FDEP Vulnerability Assessment Grant/ Project
o Results of survey in process of updating into GIS system and integrated with the sensitivity
analysis
0 2"d public meeting to be scheduled in a few months
o Completion target October 2024 or before
• Dover Ditch—Shared Protect with Town of Jupiter
o Final design and permitting process ongoing
o Video on the project by LRD includes consultant,Tequesta, and Jupiter
Water
• Water Treatment Plant Projects-projects are in ongoing stages for the water treatment plant
o Radio/SCADA modifications—Revere is the prime contractor to upgrade the existing 900 MHz
system to a 200 MHz system—project underway
o Membrane replacement design for train#2—Dover Engineering— will be bid in May
o Water Treatment Improvements—95% drawings received from consultant; all the permits have
to be in place before the project is submitted to FDEP for the Request for Inclusion meeting, we
are targeting the August FDEP meeting to bring the project
• Water Main Projects and Distribution
o WM#1 —Tequesta Dr. and Country Club Dr.
• Ongoing construction
• Strong presence by CEI engineer(Holtz) and Village utilities team
