1 . Director of Public Works requested to report on status of
easement for drainage outfall for Shay Place.
2 . Finance Director reminded to submit Budget Calendar by
February 2 , 1997 .
3 . Finance Director reminded to complete budget format and
convert all applicable items to Lotus 1-2-3 .
4 . Finance Director requested to provide health insurance
conversion status report.
5 . Director of Finance confirmed that comp time one-quarter
hour increments had been rectified.

understanding of his assignment to seek Nichol ' s Contract

Friday, January 24, at Village Hall.
• Met with Building Official and Planner regarding outline for
staff report to Village Council relative to annexation.
• Met with officials from Town of Jupiter, Chamber of Commerce,
and Florida History Center relative to FPL Transmission Lines
at 9 : 00 a.m. on January 29 .
• Met with Fire Chief and Building Official relative to minor
modifications to Annex Building at 2 :00 p.m. on January 30 .
• Met with Carol Goldstein, Wolf Organization, and Norrie Boyd of
the Palm Beach County Cultural Council . regarding Tequesta
cultural facility issues at 2:00 p.m. on January 31 .
• Met with Councilmember Hansen at 10: 30 a.m. on Monday, February
3 .
• A Staff Meeting was conducted on February 4 wherein the
following items were discussed:
1 . Water System Manager instructed to complete drought plan
for Tequesta with appropriate restrictions in two weeks.
2 . Water System Manager directed to complete leak detection
program for Intracoastal crossings in two weeks .
3 . Building Official directed to hold DRC Meeting to review
procedures in two weeks .
4 . Building Official instructed to have Planner do review of
VOT procedures and report on need for staff report and
recommendation for site plan review, variance, landscape
waiver, special exception, rezoning and to also establish
deadline for this, annexation report and all other
assignments to be provided to Planner.

5 . Building Official questioned as to community rating
system inspection .
6 . Water System Manager was provided with specific
instructions relative to implementation of. Drug-Free
Workplace Policy in conjunction with Bargaining.
7 . Director of Finance advised that employee time accruals
appeared to be wrong in certain instances .
8 . Director of Finance provided with specific instructions
relative to IRS determination letter for retirement plan
and the calling of the next Retirement Board Meeting.
9 . The Village Clerk provided a report on the acquisition of
a telephone consultant for Village operations .
10 . Director of Public Works questioned as to status of
easement for Shay Place drainage outfall .
11 . Building Official instructed to provide revised EAR LPA
Meeting schedule, if needed, to Village Manager' s Office
in writing.
12 . Director of Finance indicated that the budget format was
finalized and that all conversions to Lotus 1-2-3 would
be accomplished prior to departmental submittal
deadlines .
13 . Director of Finance requested to provide up-date on
health insurance conversion efforts .
14 . Director of Finance provided assurances that comp time

15 . Water System Manager directed to commence with appraisal
of water property for fair- market value rent and possible

relative to on-site investigation relative to enforcement
of hedge requirement on old BRITT Building.

traffic counter alternatives and to take all action
necessary to cause scheduled traffic counts to occur on
time.
25 . Building Official and Director of Public Works directed
to ensure maintenance recording activities as required
for stormwater utility in conjunction with requirements
of community rating system and NPDES.
26 . Director of Public Works requested to provide status
report on efforts to acquire information relative to
Beautiful Palm Beaches Grant.

stop sign review outcome.
28 . Building Official questioned relative to removal of
