To: Stormwater Utility Board
From: Allan F. Oslund, Coor nator, Stormwater Utility &
Capital Projects
Date: April 15, 1997
Subject: Summary Table; Stormwater Management Program
p
The Permit for NPDES was issued and came into effect February 1,
1996 . This Permit is for a 5-year period and subject for renewal
at that time.
Enclosed, please find a spread sheet depicting the various events
which must occur over this time period. As you can see, the
requirements are staggered over the duration of the Permit, so
each year another phase is added to the Permit. At the end of
each year all permittees will be required to submit a report for
the various activities.
To ensure all activities are being complied with by the
permittees, monthly meetings are held to discuss on-going
problems, questions and to coordinate upcoming Permit
requirements.
Dry weather monitoring is on-going and will continue as required.
Outside the NPDES Permit Program, Stormwater Utilities is working
on the following:
A) Emergency Hurricane Preparations
B) Storm Drainage Maintenance_
C) Improving Stormwater Surface Flow
