Golfview Drive.
6 . Director of Community Development reminded to prepare
report on usage of contractual inspection services .
7 . Water System Manager reported on meeting with Ken Nolen
relative to easement to Tequesta Bridge Road property.
8 . Water System . Manager advised he had informed CWA of
skipping lunch not requiring one hour of overtime.
9 . Water System Manager advised that he had secured services
of Calloway & Price for appraisal of Water Department
Bridge Road property for sale to Plaza 222 and Tequesta
Financial Center.
10 . Water System Manager inquired as to whereabouts of Master
Benefit Plan for health insurance program.
11 . Chief of Police sought direction relative to proper
accident report copy charges.
12 . Chief of Police advised that laptop grant was denied.
13 . Planner advised that PMG would be contacted for
annexation survey next week.
14 . Fire Chief provided information on automated communicator
emergency notice system.
• Attended a Budget Review Meeting at 2 :30 p.m. on June 11 .
• Participated in conference call with all roadway mediation
governmental representatives at 4 :00 p.m. on June 12 .
• Attended the Village Council Meeting at 7 :00 p.m. on June 12 .

• Attended the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Meeting at

schedule of supervisor safety training.

inspection service.
4 . Director of Community Development advised that LPA
Meeting for July 24 needed to be rescheduled.
5 . Water System Manager reminded that his bi-annual Safety
Committee Report was due on April 1, 1997 .
6 . The Director of Community Development was reminded of
request to review Zoning Code for antenna requirements
and/or prohibition.
7 . Water System Manager reminded of procedure for co-op
purchasing plans .
8 . Director of Community Development requested to report on
actions taken to preserve Scrub Jay habitat at Post
Office.
9 . Director of Finance asked to provide cash overtime
computations .
10 . Director of Finance requested to provide financial status
of Water Enterprise Fund.

cards for public agencies .
12 . Water System Manager advised he had met with Chief Plant
Operator and a Plant Operator for staff input for
electronic controls input for RO Water Treatment
Facility.

relative to Recreation Center architect contract.
14 . Director of Public Works & Recreation sought to schedule
meeting for Country Club Drive traffic calming review
with civil engineer.

by Village Manager.

memorandum indicating the next Stormwater Association
Meeting to which Al Oslund is to attend.

Utility Coordinator follow exact change order procedures
for AKA jobs at Shay Place and Seabrook Road.

Stormwater Utility Board, was requested to have
Stormwater Utility Coordinator do a written report on way

with uniformity and consistency.

• Attended the Palm Beach County Municipal League Meeting at
Tequesta Village Hall at 10: 30 a.m. on June 25 .

Fund at 2 : 30 p.m. on June 25.
• Met at 10 : 00 a.m. with Finance Director for final budget review
on June 27 .

• Met with Councilmember Mackail and Jupiter Medical Center
Officials at 3 :00 p.m. on June 30 .
• Attended the Chamber of Commerce Legislative Forum at 7 :45 a.m.
on July 3 .
• Met with Civil Engineer and Tequesta Staff regarding traffic
calming devices on Country Club Drive at 2:30 p.m. on July 7 .
• A Staff Meeting was held on July 8 wherein the following items
were discussed:
1 . Director of Public Works and Water System Manager
requested to provide example of , work schedule used by
Facilities Supervisor for job assignments .
2 . Dir`ector of Public Works reminded to have Stormwater
Utility Coordinator on way to do permitting of driveway

Striping in the amount of $11, 500 .

contract needed to be awarded at the 7/24/97 Village
Council Meeting.
13 . Director of Public Works advised that architectural
contract needed Village Council . approval at 7/24/97

14 . Director of Public Works advised that YMCA Agreement
needed to be approved by Village Council at 7/24/97
Village Council Meeting.
15 . Director of Public Works advised that change order
approval by Village Council was needed at 7/24/97 Village
Council Meeting for irrigation work for Seabrook Road.
16. Chief of Police advised that Worker ' s Compensation
procedures may require change to Drug-Free Workplace Plan
to include automatic drug and alcohol screening with each
on-job accident.
17 . Water System Manager advised that subaqueous crossing at
707 Bridge was determined to be a-ok.
18 . Director of Community Development sought direction
relative to citizen request for Beacon Street sewer
tie-in.
• Attended the Village Council Budget Workshop Meeting on
Tuesday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m.
• Met with Stormwater Utility Coordinator, Director of Public
Works and Recreation and Facilities Supervisor on-site of
Seabrook Road Improvement Project to review sidewalk
modifications at 9 : 30 a.m. on July 9 .
• Attended the Special Village Council Meeting at 5 : 30 on July
10 .
• Toured the Water Treatment Plant Facility at 2 : 30 p.m. on
Friday, July 11, with Water System Manager.

• Attended the ENCON Trail at Judge Baker' s Courtroom at 9 : 00
a.m. on July 14 and each applicable day thereafter.
• Attended the Monthly City Manager/Finance Director Luncheon in
the Town of Jupiter at noon on July 16 .
