There is no landscaping design services provided within. this work authorization. 2. The Village will be responsible for paying for all related permit fees. 3, Construction Administration and Inspection services are not included within this work authorization and will be provided prior to the contractor construction award. CQMPENSATION For Scope Items 1 thru 3, the Engineer shall be paid a lump sum fee of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500). Refer to the attached fee breakdown. TIME OF PERFORMANCE The Engineer understands that this is a priority project for the Village and that they desire to have construction commence in summer 2009. 'The Engineer will complete Scope Items 1 thru 3 within 30 days of receipt of an executed authorization, exclusive of delays beyond the control of the Engineer. This authorization can be cancelled with or without cause by the Village with 30 days written notice. Should said cancellation occur, the Engineer will be paid for all services performed through the cancellation date. You felt the fee was too high, so the only flexibility I had was to lower ARCADIS' portion. There was not much I could do with the subs, they already incurred their costs and have sent mean invoice.
