From: Bill Kascavelis, Director of Finance Date: September 4, 1997 Subject: Resolution Terminating the Trust Joinder Agreement with the Board of Trustees of the Florida Municipal Pension Trust Fund Mr. Stephen Palmquist, Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company prepared the attached Resolution draft for the purpose of terminating the Joinder Agreement with the Board of Trustees of the Florida Municipal Pension Trust Fund. Upon adoption of this Resolution, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tequesta Employees Pension Trust Fund will be able to proceed with securing the Administrative, Actuarial and Financial Investment Services approved at their May 19, 1997, Quarterly Meeting. The draft Resolution has been reviewed by our attorney Mr. Skip Randolph, Esq. , as to legal form and sufficiency. Respectfully submitted. BCK/mk Attach. BCIMemo.ReSolu.09497.wordpro f �f II RESOLUTION NO. 41-96/97 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, TERMINATING THE TRUST JOINDER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE FLORIDA MUNICIPAL PENSION TRUST FUND. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. By Resolution No. 37-95/96, the Village Council entered into a Trust Joinder Agreement with the Board of Trustees of the Florida Municipal Pension Trust Fund. li Section 2. The Board of Trustees of the Village of Tequesta Employees Pension Trust Fund is recommending to the Village Council that the Trust Joinder Agreement be terminated. Section 3. The Village Council hereby declares that it wishes to terminate the Trust Joinder Agreement in accordance with Paragraph 6 of such Agreement. Section 4 . The Village Council hereby authorizes Village Staff to do all things neceesary to effect such termination. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember , who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilmember , and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows : FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 11th day of September, 1997 .
